LifeCare Coach Training
Learn coaching skills for ministry, business, leadership and everyday relationships.
Have a look at the checklist to the right and ask yourself if this describes your goals and gifting:
You love helping people work through challenges, but you don't want to enroll in an advanced degree program or pursue mental health licensure.
Working with others is deeply rewarding, but despite your life experience, sometimes you're not sure how to help people take next steps.
You are ready to set aside a little time each week to learn pro-level skills that will equip you to help others in your daily life, ministry, and work.
You can identify someone in your current sphere of influence who would benefit from you coaching them using the new skills you gain on the course.
Easy-to-read chapters are accompanied by online, on-demand modules for each section of the course, so you can work at your own pace!
LifeCare Training is designed to train both individuals AND groups! Congregational care teams, Christian business leaders, missionary teams, non-profit staff and more can be trained to support well-being and goal attainment of people in their sphere of influence.
These testimonials are from a live training at Ivy Church in Manchester, England. LifeCare can be used as a resource to help groups lead their own coach training events, or a live training with an instructor from the Forward Foundation can be booked by emailing us at [email protected].
Have a look at the checklist to the right and ask yourself if this describes the goals of your team or organization:
The people you serve are working on some combination of behavioral change, examination of thoughts and beliefs, emotional processing, relationship improvement, goal setting, and the like.
You have more people seeking 1:1 help than you have time or people to meet with them.
You value pragmatic discipleship that leverages research-based coaching skills to help people incorporate their faith into their work, relationships and everyday life.
Opportunity for personal growth through equipping
Live group training allows participants to practice on one another and receive both peer and instructor feedback after practice sessions. Live group training allows coaches to learn how to coach, and to learn what it is like to receive coaching. To inquire about group coaching, email us at [email protected].
If you'd like to become a professionally accredited Life or Executive Coach with the Association for Coaching or the International Coach Federation, or just want the live training experience to help you gain further mastery of the LifeCare coaching skills, continue your training with a 2.5-day live event once you've finished these modules.
We hold live equipping events 1-2 times per year that include additional live instructor training, several sessions of coaching, coach observation and feedback, the experience of being coached by another student, and additional self-study assignments.
Also fulfills the training requirement for coach accreditation through the International Coach Federation's (ICF) portfolio path.
“I’m often the one helping others. The training gave me a chance to talk to someone about my own life who wasn’t there to judge me or fix me. It helped me grow, and made me want to help others grow as well.”
“Even in the first session, I started to learn how important it was to not try to fix people, to not try to give them the answers, but to bring them to the place where they can understand that there is an answer, and that nothing they’ve done is too much to separate them from God, or a healthy restorative life.”
